Pedersen & Partners Lisbon hires new client partner

Pedersen & Partners Lisbon hires new client partnerLeading international executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has recently announced the appointment of Carla Gouveia as client partner in Lisbon, Portugal.

Prior to joining the firm, Carla has held various senior level consulting positions at large corporations in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and banking sectors. Additionally, she has senior HR management experience with a strong connection to the commercial and financial sectors. She started her career as an organisation and compensation consultant within a global management consulting firm and after that, fulfilled the director of studies, information, compensation and benefits position being responsible for operating results and annual turnover. In 2008, Carla became the human resources director for Banco Popular in Portugal and later took on the role of commercial and marketing central director, responsible for retail business of Banco Popular, combining this function with that of board member of Eurovida and Popular Insurance.

She elaborated: “Having been both on the hiring and the Executive Search side, I offer our clients an in-depth understanding of their needs for attracting leadership talent that is able to boost engagement and productivity of their businesses, and provide a significant positive impact on the bottom line and profit.
