New REC council members elected

Six new members have been elected to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) council.

The four non-executive directors elected at the organisation’s annual general meeting to represent corporate members are Simon Conington (managing director, BPS World), Karen Davison-Renouf (managing director, C&D Group Ltd), Steven Street (group managing director, Cubed Resourcing Ltd) and Janette Withey (managing director, Quay People).

The two non-executive directors elected to represent IRP members are Marshall Evans (director, Staffline Recruitment Group) and Amanda Franks, pictured (director, Frankly Recruitment).

REC chief executive Kevin Green said: “We want our industry to be recognised as the engine that drives the jobs market. Our council plays a vital role in giving us strategic direction and I’m delighted to welcome our new non-executive directors, all of whom bring a wealth of experience, know-how and passion which will help us do more for our members.”
