New finance boss as Linsco goes for growth

Nottingham-based recruitment firm Linsco has strengthened its team with addition of a new Finance Manager.

Neil Hammans, who has been with Linsco for almost four years, has been promoted to Finance Manager at a time when the company is experiencing rapid growth, with turnover in the first quarter of 2016 up 28% from £5.2m to £6.7m.

Natalie Evans, Director at Linsco, said: “Finance Manager is a position of great authority and responsibility, but we know Neil will rise to the challenge.

“Neil will be controlling costs, finance and purchase ledger for the business and will be an integral part of the future plans at a time when we are predicting record turnover for the year of around £27m – up from £22m in 2015.”

Neil added: “It’s a great honour to be promoted at such an exciting time for Linsco. We’re a firm that’s really going places, and the next 12 months look very promising indeed. I can’t wait to contribute to our expansion plans.”

Linsco’s stellar growth has followed a management buy-out and office openings in Leeds, with Edinburgh to follow next. Last summer the company announced ambitious plans to double the number of staff at its Glasgow office and expanding its north-west presence in Warrington.

Linsco operates out of Nottingham, London, Leeds, Bristol, Sheffield, Birmingham, Warrington, Glasgow and Coventry. The firm was recently named as one of the Top 200 fastest growing companies in the East Midlands.

The firm, which also appeared in the East Midlands Top 200 companies – Grant Thornton/CBI Report in 2015, has shot up the rankings from 84th in 2015 to 27th this year, making it the fastest growing recruitment agency in the East Midlands.
