New appointments at Leeds-based recruitment firm

New appointments at Leeds-based recruitment firmTwo new appointments have been made at Leeds-based marketing recruitment specialist, MET Marketing.

The recruitment firm has this month welcomed consultants Stephen Fishwick and Gary Holmes to the business.

Originally from York, Stephen Fishwick graduated from Leeds University in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in History. Initially starting out in commercial sales, he embarked on a career in the recruitment industry, recruiting medical roles for the NHS. An amateur photographer with a keen eye for design, Stephen will be responsible for placing creatives in roles across both agency and in-house environments.

Gary Holmes, a marketing graduate from Manchester MET University, joins MET after several years working in professional services and construction industry recruitment, placing both permanent and temporary roles. Gary’s role at MET will see him supporting an already busy professional services and IT desk.

Tom Fordham, Director at MET Marketing, commented: “It’s a really exciting time for MET, with a number of new client wins and potential business in the pipeline, we’re pleased to be able to welcome on board two very talented recruitment professionals.

“Both bring very valuable industry knowledge to the team, which will contribute to team growth and expansion. We look forward to supporting Stephen and Gary in their future career development and welcoming them into our tight-knit team.”

The new appointments conclude a successful 2016 for MET, who have attained a number of exclusivity recruitment agreements this year.

Established in 2012, MET Marketing have achieved considerable growth in recent years with a 20% increase in turnover and headcount growth of 35% in the last financial year. With a strong growth forecast, in part due to the growth of the digital and creative sector in the North of England, the firm is on track to increase turnover by 25% in 2017.
