Medilink appoints director of new executive search division

MediLink Consulting, the healthcare recruitment agency providing locum doctors, nurses and allied healthcare staff to the NHS, has announced the appointment of Amir Malik as director of its newly-launched executive search division.

Malik began his career in recruitment with Michael Page, after a spell as a key account manager with Harvey Nichols. He moved into medical recruitment with IHS Integrated Healthcare, before joining Consult Search & Selection where he became executive search director, EMEA and international markets.

The executive search division will initially recruit for senior positions in the NHS, independent hospitals and allied healthcare sectors. The division will also focus on senior leadership roles within the life sciences sector (medical devices, diagnostic and pharmaceutical) in the UK and internationally.

MediLink managing director Shubber Raja said: “I was once mentored by Amir, and I know what an excellent recruiter he is with a detailed knowledge of our sector. I am delighted he has joined us to launch our new executive search division.”
