Macildowie announces new recruits

Recruitment consultancy Macildowie has announced the appointment of a number of new members of staff following a rebrand and the launch of its ambitious growth strategy.

The new positions created in Nottingham, Milton Keynes and Leicester will address each location’s vocational requirements, and meet the varying demands across a number of growing industries.

Having joined the agency’s graduate scheme in 2007, Alex Alcock has been promoted to the role of Operations Director. The appointment follows eight-and-a-half successful years within the business, which have seen Alex build up a loyal client base including the likes of Boots, Experian, Next, Specsavers and a selection of successful SME businesses.

The company’s business operations and clerical finance team is bolstered by recruitment consultants Lee Gibbons (Nottingham) and Amy Harris (Milton Keynes), who will specialise in sourcing and placing business and operations professionals across their respective regions. Amie Twells also joins the Nottingham team, specialising in the recruitment of procurement professionals.

Following an increase in demand for accountancy professionals, Macildowie’s finance team also receives an injection of new talent. Recruitment consultants Oliver Starbuck and Becky Clarke join the respective teams in Milton Keynes and Leicester, with Larrissa Kerr also joining the Nottingham office as Assistant Management Accountant.

Petronella Bartosekova joins the Leicester team as Business Support Administrator, with Sally Fawcett-White taking up the same role in Nottingham.

The recruitment consultancy has also recognised the talents of Nav Rattan, the firm’s most successful consultant of 2016, with a promotion to Business Manager within the firm’s accountancy division. Nav has been the company’s highest biller for the past two years and has played a critical role in developing new business, many of which use Macildowie on an exclusive basis.

James Taylor, Managing Director at Macildowie, said: “The first half of 2016 has been an exciting time for Macildowie as we begin to witness the impact of our new look brand and website.

“The growth of our team is another step towards our company vision – building great futures for our staff, clients and candidates. Following their fantastic starts, I look forward to seeing the development of these new recruits in the coming months.”
