Gradlancer launches student freelance service

A new service aimed at providing UK employers with skilled students on affordable, flexible contracts, is set to launch in January.

Gradlancer is designed to help business fill part time roles, internships and freelance placements by connecting them with students studying in relevant areas.

It in turn assists students in finding meaningful, flexible work experience around their university courses.

Gradlancer was founded by three entrepreneurial students. Co-founder Jay Gujral explained: “Coming straight from university ourselves, we know how tough it can be to get ahead in your career, especially with so many people graduating these days.

“We saw an opportunity to help students differentiate themselves by obtaining decent work experience while they study.”
