Futurestep continues its EMEA expansion with further hires

The Futurestep division of Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the global people and organisational advisory firm, has announced that it has hired Sandra von Keitz and James Day to its EMEA business (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).

Their appointments follow recent investments in the region, with hires in its leadership team and industrial market, and will serve to deepen the integration with Korn Ferry while expanding its offering to EMEA.

Sandra von Keitz joins Futurestep as a Managing Consultant in its consumer and fashion practice, focusing on the German, Austrian and Swiss (GAS) markets. Based in Frankfurt, von Keitz brings over 20 years’ experience to Futurestep, having worked extensively within the consumer, retail and fashion/lifestyle markets for the majority of her career. She has spent the last four years as an HR consultant and coach on interim management and executive search assignments. Prior to this, Sandra worked 16 years for Levi’s, where she served the last six years as its HR Director for the GAS regions.

Having spent over six years with Korn Ferry, James Day joins Futurestep as a Head of Supply Chain Centre of Expertise (CoE) and Managing Consultant Industry EMEA. He will now be responsible for Futurestep’s EMEA Supply Chain CoE, which is part of a global initiative, in line with Korn Ferry, to offer customers functional specialisms alongside extensive sector knowledge. James is based in the London office practice and now focuses on B2B services, including logistics, distribution and transportation, as well as ensuring a closer working relationship between Futurestep and Korn Ferry.

“This is a very exciting time for Futurestep,” said Ettore Landini, Managing Director, EMEA. “Since the beginning of 2016, we’ve expanded our team in EMEA to meet the needs of our customers. Hiring Sandra and James is the next step in ensuring that we continue to do this across the breadth of the region.”

Sandra will report directly into Carmen Koch, while James will report into An Poelman.
