Execucare UK appoints new director

Execucare UK, which specialises in the recruitment of senior executives in the not-for-profit sector, has appointed Christine Buccella as a director.

Buccella has more than 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector.

She has held senior fundraising positions at Oxford University’s North American office, the RSA, the University of Massachusetts and the University of Auckland, and was previously deputy director of Liberty.

Mairi Shirley, founder and director of Execucare UK, said: “Cultural fit and chemistry within the team is essential and has always been the root of our success. Christine has strong professional values which resonate with the ethos of our company.

“Part of Christine’s role will be to place those individuals who can help transform an organisation, as well as developing strategies to identify and develop new and existing markets.”

Buccella added: “I am hugely excited to be joining Execucare UK, to not only help with the ongoing expansion and development of the company but also to apply my experience to developing new business and cultivating relationships with key influencers in the UK not-for-profit sector.”
