Core-Asset Consulting appoints business manager

Financial sector recruitment company Core-Asset Consulting has appointed Andrew Inglis to the newly created position of business manager, legal.

Inglis will be responsible for the recruitment of all permanent legal vacancies across Core-Asset Consulting’s client base, including asset management, asset servicing and the wider financial services sector in Scotland. He will also manage the company’s expansion into the Scottish legal sector, a new market for Core-Asset Consulting.

Prior to Core-Asset Consulting, Inglis held a number of senior recruitment positions. Most recently he was managing consultant for Carlton Resource Solutions in Aberdeen.

His appointment brings the total number of employees at Core-Asset Consulting to 35, a near doubling of headcount over the past two years.

Betsy Williamson, managing director of Core-Asset Consulting, said of Inglis’s appointment: “With over 15 years’ of experience recruiting across legal positions in Scotland, his knowledge of the sector will prove invaluable to our existing clients and candidates.

“Andrew will also play a leading role in growing our presence among Scottish law firms, a sector which has witnessed widespread consolidation in recent years. We’re confident we have the right skills, experience and approach to meet the recruitment challenges that such change brings.”
