Berry appoints new operations manager

Berry Recruitment has appointed Kathy Rusher as operations manager of its growing Oxford branch.

The experienced recruiter heads a team of five with other consultants due to be added.

Kathy has spent the last eight years in recruitment and five as a divisional manager in a south Oxfordshire company, bringing local knowledge to the position.

Covering Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire, the branch recruits across the commercial sector, filling office-based roles including sales, marketing, HR, finance, IT, customer service, call centre and general admin positions. It also has a catering and cleaning section and is planning an industrial desk.

Kathy said: “Finding candidates is the hardest part of recruitment in this area so we are utilising social media, local advertising and attending jobs fairs and networking events. We are also working with local colleges and universities and promoting candidate referrals.

“Building awareness of the Berry brand is important and is already paying dividends. We recruit for temporary, contract and permanent roles and with the economy strong we anticipate current employment trends to continue.
