Astute Recruitment to open Nottingham office

Astute Recruitment is opening a new office in Castle Gate, in Nottingham city centre.

The accountancy recruitment specialist’s second office in the region – the other being in Derby – will be led by the firm’s co-director Mary Maguire, who has more than 18 years’ experience in recruitment.

Maguire said: “We are really excited to be opening a new office in Nottingham, as we work to provide local businesses with a tailored approach to recruitment. We want to expand and have actively engaged in growing our team with several new staff members recently. We are certain our team of professionals will be able to meet the needs of local businesses in Nottingham.”

The firm is currently undergoing a rebrand – its new branding will be unveiled later this year along with a new website.

To support the rebrand, Astute has appointed Simon Gray as a non-executive director. Gray has over ten years’ experience in recruitment, and as a qualified chartered accountant is the president of the Nottingham, Derby & Lincoln Society of Chartered Accountants and also the ICAEW business representative for the East Midlands.
