The Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) has appointed Stephen Hill as its new finance director.
Hill has more than 25 years’ experience within a variety of international organisations, and has worked as the European FD of both Volt and Elan handling strategy development, acquisitions, restructuring and process improvement.
He replaces Matthew Brown, who has combined roles with APSCo and his own business, Giant Group, for a number of years.
“We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Matthew,” said Ann Swain, chief executive of APSCo. “He has contributed immeasurably to the success of APSCo for over a decade. Matthew will remain an active member of our Representative Committee, but our recent growth made it necessary to invest in a permanent resource.
“Stephen will provide financial support and guidance to APSCo both in the UK and internationally as we go through the next phase of our development.”
