Ambition appoints head of diversity

Global boutique recruitment specialist Ambition has created a new head of diversity role to address the issues its clients are facing in committing to a diverse workforce.

Sally Clare will work with Ambition’s clients to provide more information, advice and guidance around improving their diversity strategy.

Clare joined Ambition in 2010 and previously managed the professional services team. In this role she worked closely with Ambition UK managing director, Andrea Williams, to create the Women with Ambition network.

“Diversity is a key topic with all our clients across financial services and professional services, and we believe that by creating a new role that solely concentrates on this, we will be able to develop and change the way in which recruitment companies deal with diversity,” Williams said.

Although Clare’s role will initially focus on gender diversity in the short term, it will eventually encompass all aspects of diversity.
