Jackson Hogg Recruitment launches new divisionJackson Hogg Recruitment, one of the North East’s largest specialist engineering recruiters, has launched a dedicated Transmission and Distribution division.

The new division is part of the company’s rapid expansion, which has seen it grow more than threefold in the last year to 13 consultants, comes with the appointment of expert recruiter Dean Forster. By offering a dedicated Transmission and Distribution service, the company hopes to provide more support to companies in the UK’s increasingly diverse energy and renewables supply market and their supply chains.

Dean joins Jackson Hogg with five years’ experience in technical recruitment, before which he had a successful career in marketing for a major international consumer brand. He has a LLB (Hons) in Law from Newcastle University.

Richard Hogg, Managing Director of Jackson Hogg Recruitment, said: “By creating a specialised Transmission and Distribution division we are able to provide an even better level of support to this part of the energy supply chain, both in the UK and overseas. All companies involved in energy are looking to diversify and create efficiencies, as they strive to increase profits and make their businesses more resilient to market fluctuations, and our expansion allows us to provide an even closer fit for their needs.

“I would like to welcome Dean to the Jackson Hogg team. A consultant of his calibre will add momentum and gravitas to our new division.”

Dean Forster said: “It is an exciting time in recruitment, and in the Transmission and Distribution sector. I am delighted to be joining Jackson Hogg, which has established a great reputation within the engineering and technical sectors in the North East, and has a growing national and international reputation. We are already looking to recruit more consultants to join our T&D team.”
